The Professional Firefighters Association of South Florida (PFA South
Florida), a 501(c)3, is proud to recognize trailblazers in the fire service. These
trailblazers have displayed both bravery and courage while championing for
impartiality in the fire service.
Today, we honor these heroic individuals who paved the way for generations
of fire service professionals, like myself. On Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 10am
in the Signature Grand, we will host our annual “Honoring Trailblazers of the
Fire Service Brunch.”
As dedicated public servants, PFA South Florida is committed to promoting
careers within the fire service, providing life skills and fire safety classes
through community outreach initiatives. To date PFA South Florida has hosted
over 400 community events within Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach
Counties.
The goal of PFA South Florida is to bring awareness to fire service and public
safety career opportunities. With the assistance of our sponsors, the PFA South
Florida has been able to educate youths and young adults as well as provide a
number of scholarships for young men and women who are pursuing careers
in the fire service. As an organization, we strive to maintain a pipeline of
upstanding candidates who will one day proudly serve as first responders.
